Gullfoss waterfall (the Golden Waterfall) where you will see thousands of tons of icy water thunder majestically down in double falls into a deep canyon.

Geysir geothermal areawhere bubbling hot springs and geysers are abundant. Here you'll find also Strokkur, the most active geyser in the area, spouting up to 25-30 meters.

In one afternoon you will visit Iceland’s most renowned natural attractions and geological wonders.

At the Geysirgeothermal field take a walk around bubbling hot springs and sprouting geysers. Then observe Strokkur, the most active geyser of the area, sprouting up to 25-30 meters.

Afterwards head to the famous Gullfosswaterfallwhere enormous quantities of water tumble violently into a deep, meandering gorge.

Finally make a quick stop at Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where two of the earth' stectonic plates meet.

Explore the Reykjanes peninsula, one of the most volcanically active and geologically interesting areas in Iceland.Head to the Reykjanes peninsula where you can see the mid Atlantic ridge rise from the ocean.This is where the tectonic plates of Europe and America are slowly drifting apart.  More than half of the peninsula is covered with lava fields, some of which are only a few hundred years old. Continue to the old lighthouse on the westernmost tip of the peninsula. This is a magnificent area with a rich birdlife in the summer. Pass through the fishing village Grindavík on the way to the Blue Lagoon.

At the Blue Lagoon you have three different options; a visit to the Blue Lagoon, transfer to Keflavík Airport or return back to Reykjavik according to the transfer schedule below.

The Reykjanes Peninsula portion of the tour is 2,5-3 hours in duration, with flexible departures from the Blue Lagoon available.
