Fez Full Day Tour
(Full day tour – min 2 persons)

Full day sightseeing of Fez: Visit the Royal Palace and walk to the Mellah. Continue to Borj Sud for a panoramic view of the Medina. Travel on to Bab Boujloud which was built in 1913 as the primary entrance point into Fès el-Bali. Walk through the UNESCO protected Fez Medina labyrinth and see the 14th century Bou Anina Medersa (closed Tuesdays) and Dar el-Magana with its water clock. Continue to the tanneries on the banks of the Oued Fes with its strong smells and visit various other souks with their brass workers, dyers, spices and groceries. See the exterior of the al-Quarawiyyin Mosque and visit the el-Atterine Medersa University, which was built from 1323 to 1325 and is considered one of the wonders of Moorish architecture. Visit the 18th century tomb of Moulay Idriss, considered to be the founder of Fez. See el-Nejjarine Square and stop for a light lunch nearby. Continue on to the 16th century Potter’s Quarter and watch the artisans doing what they do best. Proceed to the ramparts of the 16th century Saadien watchtower at the North Borj and see another panoramic view of Fez. Return to your hotel.  (L)

Fez Half Day Tour
(Half-day morning tour – min 2 persons)

Half day sightseeing of Fez: Visit the Royal Palace and walk to the Mellah. Continue to Borj Sud for a panoramic view of the Medina. Meknes and Volubilis
(Full day tour – min 2 persons)

Depart from your hotel in Fez and travel across the Saiss Plain to the ancient roman ruins of Volubilis known for its mosaics. See various ruins such as the Baths of Gallienus, the Forum, the House of Orpheus, the Knight’s House, the House of Seasons, the Gordian Palace and many others and the notable mosaics. Continue to Moulay Idriss which attracts thousands of Moroccan Muslims every August who pray at the tomb of Moulay Idriss, a descendant of the Prophet Mohammed. Explore the labyrinth of alleys in the city and continue to the UNESCO protected Imperial City of Meknes. Visit the Bab Mansour gateway and see the expansive stables Moulay Ismail’s soldiers built next to a pool fed by the distant Middle Atlas Mountains. Visit the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum and the Place el-Hedim with its state-owned Haras stables where famous “Barb” African stallions are bred. Optional (not included) lunch. Depart from Meknes in the afternoon and return to your hotel.
